Welcome to my temporary site.
I can make this short and sweet since there is currently not much here to worry about. There are now only two pages on this site, this one and the other one.
The other page is our carny lingo page and the site wouldn't be the same without it. Not even for a day.
For those of you who have, over the years, become registered users or signed up for our free ezine, no worries. It's all coming back, or at least most of it.
Those of you who have linked to our various pages or have had a link to their site featured here can relax also. Your links will eventually get redirected to new pages and our long list of carnival related links will once again be a part of our site.
The history of this site since its inception in 2001 as a base for "Geeks, Freaks and Bamboozles Free Gazette" has been one of constant growth and change. Our last reincarnation was as a Joomla site. It's all been good and fun but it was time for another change.
I am simply tired of a site with eleventy-thousand files and folders, the bulk of which I have no idea of their content or function. After having another of my complex sites hacked, I've decided it's time to get on top of things. I'm not going to upload anything to my server that I don't know the content or function of.
That is not to say that I won't install another CMS or blogging software on this site, a website without a database is pretty useless in this Web 2.0 world :)
